As part of my final year at Nottingham Trent University, I designed a packaging concept for the first fully vegan and gluten-free crêperie in NYC called Little Choc Apothecary. Getting in touch with the owner, we decided to use a design with a shape of a cone as it cleverly fit the rolled up crepes.
I modelled a packaging concept inspired by origami and sacred geometry.
The folding mechanism pulls in all corners of the cone to then be secured by a wooden bead at the top. The graphics printed on the packaging were photographed by me. I wanted to add a natural, yet luxurious touch to the aesthetics. The packaging reminds people of a perfume bottle or an expensive sweets bag. To improve the concept, I would further discover the folding mechanism for ease of use.
